Senior Engineer Full time

DIFK is a design led structural engineering company focused on advanced engineering structures with strong architectural content. We are looking for a talented and passionate senior structural engineer interested in developing and managing challenging such projects.

Challenges

• Work on iconic buildings, bridges and rehabilitation projects

• From front-end feasibility and concept stages of projects through to detailed design and follow-up of execution

• Working space in an open plan and very communicative office

• Collaboration in an encouraging environment

• Based in the centre of Oslo City, close to train, tram and bus connections in a flourishing neighbourhood

Desired skills & experience

• Master’s degree (or equivalent education and working experience) in Civil or Structural Engineering

• 10+ years of working experience

• Experience working in a Civil & Structural consulting engineering office

• Competent at structural engineering design in all common materials

• Strong architectural sensibility

• Effective communicator both in written and verbal form, capable of representing the firm in design team and client meetings

• Experience and expert knowledge of structural design software

• Excellent initiative and an eagerness to provide top level engineering services as part of a multi-disciplinary team

• Fluent in English and Norwegian both verbal and written
